A$1,400.00

collected terrain (fig 1), 2023

Watercolour, natural pigment, and graphite on 300gsm Arches cotton paper

140cm H x 114cm W

collected terrain (fig 1), uses pigments from found flora, rust and rainwater, watercolour and a collection of graphite to bring to life the abundance of movement and activity captured from blind contour drawings of local nature surroundings.

The layers of pigments, gestural marks and indentations coincide over five panels, each capable of existing in their own right as a note in time, or together as a unified panoramic landscape.

Note: collected terrain (fig 1) consists of one panel, see other collected terrain works for partnering pieces.
